Does Tom’s Of Maine Toothpaste Show Expiration Date?

Expiration Date - Toms-Of-Maine-Natural-AntiPlaque-Fluoride-Free-Propolis-Myrrh-Toothpaste-Spearmint-Review

Yes, it does. The expiration date is clearly embossed at the bottom of my toothpaste tube (i.e. EXP 08/14/15). Alternatively you can find the expiration date at the end of the packaging box. So if you were to lose the box, not to worry, you can still find the expiration date on the tube itself :).

What Are The Ingredients Used In Tom’s Of Maine Natural AntiPlaque Fluoride-Free Propolis & Myrrh Toothpaste (Spearmint)?

I bought this toothpaste with Fluoride-Free, Propolis, Myrrh and a Little Foamy (I appreciate a little foamy kind of toothpaste or else I won’t find my teeth clean enough) as my essential criteria cause I was trying to address my aching wisdom tooth problem. I am aware that it contains SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) but of natural source origin. I know some people prefer SLS-Free Toothpaste or Cleanser and do not like SLS whether it is chemically or naturally derived. I felt that it is a matter of personal choice and preference.

So here are the ingredients, their functions and its sources for this particular toothpaste I use :

Tom’s Of Maine Natural AntiPlaque Fluoride-Free Propolis & Myrrh Toothpaste (Spearmint) Review & Experience?

Tom's Of Maine Natural AntiPlaque Fluoride-Free Propolis & Myrrh Toothpaste (Spearmint) ReviewThis particular toothpaste comes with a twist-off cap (with a protective foil seal to maintain the integrity of the ingredients) that allows you to open to use and close (quite tightly) to prevent any toothpaste leakage. The texture of the white starchy-like toothpaste is smooth and non-gritty (in other words, it is not abrasive to me cause I do not feel as though there are small particles brushing against my teeth or gum). It is gentle, mild and yet effective in cleaning my teeth.

The taste and smell of the spearmint and peppermint is quite minty and I like it very much. It is also adequately foamy (just nice and not too foamy), I need not use a lot of the toothpaste per session. In fact about half-inch (about 1.2 cm) long of toothpaste is sufficient to clean the entire teeth well.

After cleaning my teeth, my mouth is fresh with slight cool minty refreshing feeling and in fact my teeth is so squeaky clean that if you use your fingers to swipe to and fro the teeth surface, you can hear a “Zeeing Zeeing” sound. You can imagine how clean it is :).

The tube surface is smooth to the touch and squeezing toothpaste out of the cap opening is a breeze. Personally I like the healthier BPA-Free tube packaging (with #7 recycling code) they use to store the toothpaste. It can hold about 5.5 oz (155.9 g) of toothpaste. For my daily and nightly (and occasional mid-afternoon) brushing, this toothpaste can last for about 1 to 2 months depending on my usage. Because this BPA-Free tube is made of laminated plastic and not aluminum they used to use in the past, it helps to make this toothpaste lighter and convenient to carry around.

Tom’s Of Maine Natural AntiPlaque Fluoride-Free Propolis & Myrrh Toothpaste (Spearmint) – So How, Is It Good?

Being first-time buyer of this particular Tom’s Of Maine Natural AntiPlaque Fluoride-Free Propolis & Myrrh Toothpaste (Spearmint), my impression of this toothpaste is very good and I have great experience using it without any problem or side-effects or allergic reactions. In fact it helps to resolve my wisdom tooth aching and inflammation. It is so good that I can’t list out any bad things about this product.

So How, Is It Good? I am very happy with this product and I would recommend this for those who would like Natural, Antiplaque, Fluoride-Free, Minty, A Little Foamy Toothpaste with added beneficial ingredients like Propolis (which has antibacterial and antiseptic properties that protects teeth from cavities, gingivitis and buildup of plaque) and precious Myrrh (which has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumoral, antiviral, antiseptic properties proven beneficial to dental and gum health since ancient times. For those who do not know, Myrrh is recorded in the Bible as one of the 3 precious gifts the 3 wise men presented to Baby Jesus.)

I had a wisdom tooth ache before using this toothpaste, during that time I already had in mind the ingredients of Propolis and Myrrh to address my wisdom tooth issues (caused I knew about the healing properties of the Propolis and Myrrh). That time I was thinking about whether I should see a doctor to get the wisdom tooth extracted out or let it be and endure the tooth ache and the tension headache associated from the toothache. After using the toothpaste for a few days and gently brushing the affected part of my teeth, it did help to lessen the ache and subside the inflamed gum swelling. Up till now, I am still using the toothpaste and I do not have any wisdom tooth ache or inflammation relapse and was glad that my wisdom tooth aching and inflammation can be addressed naturally without the need to see a dentist :).
